CHICAGO, IL—April 10, 2006 Cook Alex today announced that three of its attorneys were honored as Illinois Super Lawyers in the February 2006 issue of Chicago magazine. John L. Alex and Edward D. Manzo were recognized as two of the top intellectual property attorneys in Illinois. Granger Cook Jr. was recognized as one of the top intellectual property litigators in the state.
This award is reserved for those Illinois attorneys that have attained a high degree of professional achievement and peer recognition. Law & Politics sends approximately 47,000 ballots to active Illinois attorneys that have practiced for five or more years. Attorneys were asked to nominate whom they considered to be the top lawyers in Illinois. The awards for Illinois Super Lawyers went to the leading attorneys in Illinois across a wide range of practice areas and firm sizes.
