CHICAGO, IL—November 5, 2006 Cook Alex today announced that the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago (IPLAC) will be hosting a book launch for Edward D. Manzo (editor-in-chief) and the other contributors of Claim Construction in the Federal Circuit, 2006 ed., a recently published book by Thomson-West. Mr. Manzo, one of Cook Alex’s partners, originated and has been the editor-in-chief since 2001 of this annual review of claim construction law of the Federal Circuit, which until 2006 had been distributed privately. Thomson-West is now publishing and distributing it nationally. IPLAC is hosting the book launch at Lloyd’s in Chicago on November 16th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
