CHICAGO, IL—March 30, 2007 Cook Alex today announced that one of its partners is the editor-in-chief of Claim Construction in the Federal Circuit, 2007 ed., an annual book published this week by West Legalworks of Thomson-West. Edward D. Manzo, co-founder and partner of Cook Alex, originated and has been the editor-in-chief since 2001 of this annual review of claim construction law of the Federal Circuit, which is co-authored by the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago (IPLAC). Due to the success of this annual review, Thomson-West is publishing and distributing this material as a reference to be used by judges, attorneys and patent agents practicing in this area of the law.
