CHICAGO, IL—May 18, 2007 The Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago (IPLAC), in co-sponsorship with The John Marshall Law School, presented to a filled-to-capacity audience a panel discussion of the recent decision of the United States Supreme Court in KSR International v. Teleflex. The panel chairman–moderator, Edward D. Manzo of Cook Alex, directed a lively and dynamic discussion of the many issues raised by this new decision. The panel included two District Court judges, a law professor, former law clerks from the Supreme Court and the Federal Circuit, experienced patent litigators, and patent prosecution lawyers.
